Hacked vintage MIDI controller for artist Seth Norman

  • Objectives: Remove all electronics inside this piece of non-functional, vintage air-craft test equipment, and replace them with “aged” modern components to create a standard MIDI controller.

  • Contributions: Component sourcing & testing, component patination, Teensy Arduino programming, assembly.

  • Status: Delivered March 2020, debuted in Seismic Shock promotional videos October 2021.

  • Additionally: Created in tandem with Hickok.
